Rudrapur | Deoria: In Rudrapur, A brazen daylight robbery occurred at a customer service center, resulting in the theft of a sum of forty thousand rupees. The incident transpired on Saturday afternoon at the Bairiyaghat intersection along the Rudrapur-Deoria road.
The criminals, traveling on a motorcycle, brandished weapons to pilfer the funds from the customer service center staff. Remarkably, there are no surveillance cameras installed within the shop premises. Curiously, prior to executing the crime, security footage from a different store captured the culprits on their bike, mouths restrained. This crucial evidence has prompted both the local police and the Special Operations Group (SOG) to launch a comprehensive investigation into the matter.
Teerthraj Tiwari, a resident of East Tiwari Tola of Rudrapur town, has been running SBI’s customer service center at Bairiaghat intersection for about a month at Sant Gopal Pandey’s house. According to the information, Tirtharaj has not installed CCTV camera in his shop. He told that at 12 noon two youths riding a bike reached the shop. Both had tied their mouths with a cloth.
According to the operator, a young man started asking about the procedure for opening an account. Meanwhile, took out the pistol from the other and attached it. Seeing this, another customer present in the shop was also shocked. The miscreants looted about forty thousand rupees kept in the counter. The bike riding miscreants came to the shop from Deoria side and fled towards Rudrapur.
Other shopkeepers gathered on the operator’s noise. People informed the police about the incident. Inspector-in-charge Naveen Pratap Singh said that two bike-riding suspects are visible in the CCTV at the second shop of the intersection. By registering a case, the police is engaged in the investigation. The incident will be revealed soon.
