The stock market will remain closed on January 22, now trading will happen throughout the day on Saturday.

Stock Market News: Indian stock markets will remain closed on Monday 22 January on the occasion of the inauguration of Ram Temple.

There will be no trading on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) on this day. Due to the consecration ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya, January 22 has been declared a holiday in the stock market. However, instead of this, an order has been issued to open the stock market tomorrow i.e. Saturday, January 20.

Till now the plan was to open the market for just two hours on Saturday, January 20. Now according to the new circular, there will be trading in the market throughout the day on Saturday, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, while the market will remain closed on January 22. Earlier the news had come that on Monday, January 22, the market will open at 02:30 pm and trading will happen till 5 pm.
